Silly sports Day

On a bright sunny Tuesday 23RD we had silly sports day on the field with room 20, 21 and room 22. Mr. Harrissilly sport was spoon and tennis tied up leg race and goal was try to have a partner then tie up your partners leg as well asyour leg then when Mr. Harris blows his whisel then we would walk with our partner to the other side of the course and back but who ever came first and second would compete in the finals but just as the teams were ready to go then the alarm went off.
The next silly sport was Mrs. Nua's silly sport and we had to do was to try and get a sponge that is soaked with water into another bucket you would have to fill up. After that silly sport the alarm went off then we had to swicth/rotate around clock wise to the other silly sport. Mrs. Nua's silly sport was fun and I was in the team that won that silly sport.
After rotating to Mrs. Tito we had to sit down and listen to the instructions plus we had to sit down and look carefully at Mrs. demonstrate. While she was still talking to us about the instructions for about 5 minuets, we finally got our turn I felt like not having a turn because it felt so difficult .How we had to pull the sling shot then let go but the tricky thing was that we had to try and manage to get the ball(any ball) into a hula hoop which was probably 7 feet away. When it was my turn and just as I was about to pull the sling shot, the alarm just rang. Then Mr Harris told us make a single file or just get into two lines to get ready for class.

What I liked about Silly Sports day was that I had fun with my friends and class mates and I would like to say thanks to Chelsea for checking my work

Cross Country

As I lined up with all the year 7 boys my heart pounded and pounded because I would be challenging most of the fast boys.

When I heard the clap from the piece of wood I sprinted with my friend trying to sprint into the front but then we wasted our energy. Samson and I, caught up to the front and over lapped some girls, we saw up ahead a humongous field next to a reserve. By that time I was a the coming 11th. I forced myself to go faster and it worked, I was able to be 7TH.

After I finished the cross country race, I felt like running through the whole cross country way again until im puffed out.

My Romanian Conversation

“Hello my name is Havea, I came from the island named Tonga. I have come to tour around Romania. Where does the name Romania come from?” I asked.
“In the past people in Romania were part of the Roman Empire,“ replied John Cena.
“Then what continent is Romania on?” I asked.
“I think it is Europe?” replied John Cena.
“If you think that your so brainy then what is the population of Romania?” I asked.
“Easy, there is around 23,000,000 people in Romania!” said John Cena.
“What are the three most important festivals in Romania?” I inquired.
“It is Music metal, Romania Festival and Christmas Festival,” stated John Cena.
“ What is the capital city of Romania?” I questioned.
“Well, I’m sure it is Bucharest?” answered John Cena.
” Who is the most famous person in Romania?” I inquired.
“ I think his name is Jovan Damjovanic?” John Cena replied.
“Ohh, What kind of dish does Romania like the most?” I questioned.
“It is Salmon!” answered John Cena.
“Thank you for your time John Cena you made me learn a lot of things about Romania!” I said.

The Force were given a number of names of rugby-playing nations of the world. These were some of the nations that are recognised by the world governing body of Rugby Union, the International Rugby Board (IRB), as member unions but did not qualify for RWC 2011.
We divided them up amongst our team. I was given Tunisia.
This is what I found -

Where In The World Is Epsom ?

Different Auckland town centres have adopted Rugby teams from countries that qualified for the World Cup. All Blacks I found out information about : Epsom The location in Auckland; Something special about this place; 3 kms south Auckland city centre. A 'potted' history of the place; It is named after a town in England and named after a Horse Race Track. If it has it's own symbol of some sort.(If we couldn't find a symbol we chose a picture that told more about the place).
