The Marshmallow Monster

On a beautiful night in Wake Forest with the moon shining upon the lake with a glittering view, there silently sat a little kid roasting his marshmallow in fire. Unaware, from behind was a taniwha. As the predator approached the harmless little kid as he was creating a huge spot of blackness over him. The black spot was noticed by him, he was frozen with shock on his face. The kid pointed up his stick with the marshmallow putting him into a position of self defense, but the taniwha suddenly changed his facial expression to a starving hungry one.

The harmless taniwha played with the kid like a dog plays with his ball. As the taniwha was fed marshmallows one after another, the kid became frustrated once he was left with one last marshmallow.

The taniwha snached the last treat out of the kids hands with hunger and the taniwha was waiting for another treat. They both gave each other facials of cluelessness. The taniwha was clueless with what the kid was thinking until he knew, he suddenly switched into attack mode with no mercy.

The kid ran with fear with the taniwha in pursuit but he only made it a few meters. The taniwha approached the kid but as the kid feared the taniwha, he held a pillow against the him. The taniwha was tricked and he switched into hungry mode once again.

The kid threw the pillow with the taniwha fetching but once the taniwha caught the pillow, he saw the kid once again running with ultimate fear. With the kid gone, the taniwha grabbed a stick and began poking it through the pillow. He was once again standing there but as he raised the stick upon the fire, the pillow incinerated like ashes leaving the taniwha with nothing.

My Creative Toy

  •
  • This term our topic is toy story also we were given a task to create a toy.

I finished my toy in time and I'm proud of myself but It sucks that it's not for myself. I spent a lot of time on my toy then doing work because it's cool that I'm giving my toy to the person that likes me from my family. The person I'm giving my toy to will probably break it and I don't want that to happen but here is a movie that I've put together and I hope you enjoy it.

My Character Description About Mr Burt

About Mr Burt is that he always wears glasses on his forehead and wears a watch on his right wrist.Unlike Mrs Nua, he’s not used to growling but he has a staunch look on his face. Also he’s slightly tall, has wrinkles, has purple cheeks and has lines on his forehead.
Mr Burt is the kind of man that is kind to kids but also visitors. He has been a principal for a long time which means he’s an old man.(No Offence) To all of Point England he is very important but scary when it comes to growling.
He always come to school early every morning because he loves to drink coffee but while he drinks his coffee he walks around the school talking to kids or visitors. I think that he also loves every one and that he communicates with every one in sight and he he cares about every one when their in trouble.
I love learning new interesting facts about Mr Burt because he's a communicative and lovable person.
When we are in trouble i'm sure he's growling us for our own good but I think that it because he loves us.

Basketball

On Thursday 26TH of July we had a basketball session with room twenty and some tutors named Tai and shay. We got split into groups to get ready to challenge each other but first we learnt some techniques . They told us a lot of techniques that involve dribbling. There was a jump stop, fake passing then the actual pass and the one two( a way to stop and catch, pass or shoot).

Later on, Tye gave us some challenges using the the techniques that they taught us. Tai said that the challenge was to  run and dribble the ball from the opposite end of us and back to the beginning but when we were finished we had to pass the ball to the next person in your team.

Later on I felt like I was in an actual game and that I would own the game but there was just no way I could have learnt l those techniques and not be able to remember it all. Until next week I just can’t wait to master basketball again. Also I just can’t wait to be taught new techniques, skills and participation.

Also on the behalf of Pt England School we would love to say thank you to the Basketball tutors club and I hope they will see me in the basketball :Lakers team!!

The Busk Walk

On a cloudy day where all the clouds formed in and gathered, There was a family of six. This family of six had two daughters, three sons and just their only parent the father. Liam, the fathers name had said to his kids “hey kids, should we go for a bush walk?” The kids replied ”NO” with such hate but they had no choice but to go so then they were off but as they arrived to the bush walk, there was a sign planted into the ground say DO NOT LEAVE THE TRAIL! VERY HIGH RISK OF GETTING LOST OR LOSING A FAMILY MEMBER SO KEEP TO THE TRAIL!!!

They thought to themselves who would be dumb enough to leave the trail. The family left at exactly 11:00 o’clock and they began to hike but they weren’t too familiar with the bush walk. They were about ⅕ of the way and they were hoping that it wouldn’t rain but it did. As they walked, Liam’s eldest had stepped into gooey gravy mud also hoping that wasn’t poo.
The other family members stood there laughing while he was covered and soaked with rain and Poe kind of looking mud.

As the sun cleared away, that family had a stitch from laughing their guts out but later on they had just found out it was just mud. While they were walking acting like nothing happened, they met a grizzly bear that suddenly jumped out on a surprise attack. They jumped with such fright and fear and then they all discovered that they all were one hundred meter sprinters as they ran for their lives but, the silliest thing was that they had ran out of the trail of the bush walk.

After their one hundred meter sprint, they gathered into a circle and panicked about which problem to think about because they got frightened by the bear and they had left the bush walk ways. As time flew by, they were desperately seeking for water as they were walking, and the sun was so hot that it almost cause the planet Earth to evaporate all the water.

The bear had once again sneakily jumped out with a huge roar leaving the family no choice but to run again. The family ran so fast that they thought they should join the Olympics team in one hundred meter sprints but as they sprinted, the saw they sign that they saw earlier and they were so surprised with a lot of happiness and cheerfulness because of two reasons. 1. They thought they would die of old age trying to find their way back in the bush walk trail, and 2. They also thought they would be eaten alive by the grizzly bear.

They all hopped into their car and drove home with no injuries and safe and sound but most of all   been very happy but they were so lucky of not getting eaten alive and not been lost in the bushes. They had learnt a very valuable lesson and they all agreed to never ever take a bush walk ever again.

My Favorite Toy

My favorite toy that I’ve chosen that was the best throughout my childhood, was my remote control helicopter because it could fly so high up to the sky until it loses signal to my remote, then it would just drop but as it gets closer to the ground, I would start it up again then fly.

At the age of six my helicopter was given to me by my brother on Christmas in 2005 and I lost it in 12/05/2006. I remembered how it was looked like, it had metal parts but the weird thing was that the pellets were at the bottom of the helicopter and I couldn't let anyone ruin it as for an example, my little brother.

My helicopter meant everything to me and I didn’t want anyone trying to wreck it. On 25TH May 2006, It was a very hot day and I took my helicopter to the beach with me and played around with it. When I arrived at the beach, I was the very first to jump out of the car to test flight my helicopter and everything went fine until I flew out near the water.

As my helicopter was getting further and further, I tried to bring it back but the wind would let me and that's when I started to panic. My helicopter was losing signal as it went further and I started to panic more but while I was panicking, the whole of my family was just sitting on their mat laughing.

I thought to myself that I would never ever bring it to the beach ever again but it was too late. It seemed like mother nature ganged up on my helicopter because a strong wave of wind smashed my helicopter out of the air and leaving the rest to the waves of the beach. I was devastated after something horrible had just happen to my favourite toy but now was.

I had learnt a lesson after that accident had happened and as I went home, I highly regretted taking my favourite toy to the beach but I’ve only got one thing to say.
“ CURSE YOU WINDS AND THE WAVES OF THE SEA, WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?”
